The basic parts of a computer system are:

• Monitor.
• CPU (Central Processing Unit)       
• Keyboard.
• Mouse.
• Speakers.
• Printer.

1.monitor:-

          A computer monitor is an output device which displays information in pictorial form. A monitor usually comprises the display device, circuitry, casing, and power supply. ... Older monitors used a cathode ray tube (CRT).

2.CPU:-

          The central processing unit (CPU) is the unit which performs most of the processing inside a computer. To control instructions and data flow to and from other parts of the computer, the CPU relies heavily on a chipset, which is a group of microchips located on the motherboard.

3.Keyboard:-

          The keyboard is the piece of computer hardware used to input text, characters, and other commands into a computer or similar device.

Even though the keyboard is an external peripheral device in a desktop system (it sits outside the main computer housing), or is "virtual" in a tablet PC, it is an essential part of the complete computer system.

4.Mouse:-

              A mouse is a small device that a computer user pushes across a desk surface in order to point to a place on a display screen and to select one or more actions to take from that position. The mouse first became a widely-used computer tool when Apple Computer made it a standard part of the Apple Macintosh. Today, the mouse is an integral part of the graphical user interface (GUI) of any personal computer. The mouse apparently got its name by being about the same size and color as a toy mouse.

5.Speaker:-

         A device that converts analog audio signals into the equivalent air vibrations in order to make an audible sound. When CRT monitors were the norm, speakers designed for computers were shielded to avoid magnetic interference with the CRT's magnetic coil. Getting Smaller All the Time.

6.printer:-

            A printer is an external hardware output device that takes the electronic data stored on a computer or other device and generates a hard copy of it. For example, if you created a report on your computer you could print several copies to hand out at a staff meeting. Printers are one of the most popular computer peripherals and are commonly used to print text and photos. The picture to the right is an example of an inkjet computer printer
